It's freezing in California. Not literally, but it might as well be. The weather has been depressingly cold and bleak for what feels like weeks, and this always gets me thinking about traveling to places that I would rather be. Seems like years ago that I was mesmerized by the natural beauty (and warm weather!) of Croatia.

I need a tropical vacation.

So I saw this article one day and it made me think. How many times have I been to LA and really explored it in a new way? How many times do I explore the Bay Area, where I live? For me, this blog is about exploring new places and old ones. Seeing places in new ways. Traveling abroad and at home. Itinerant. Intrepid.
